1. Who controls your data
National Progress LLC, Sohar, Sultanate of Oman, is the primary controller for MOVEQEEL account and marketplace data unless a contract identifies another controller. Privacy enquiries may be sent to nationalprogress29@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Identity: verified account identifier, email and optional display name supplied by the sign-in service.
- Account profile: role, mobile number, country, city, language and company information.
- Verification: commercial registration, vehicle details, operating-card status, licence category, expiry and compliance documents when required.
- Operations: bookings, quotes, messages, route and status events, incidents, proof of delivery and audit history.
- Location: driver GPS only for an assigned active job and subject to the operational control shown in the driver application.
- Financial: invoice, fee and payment-status information. Payment-card credentials must be handled by the selected regulated payment provider, not stored directly by MOVEQEEL.
3. Why we use it
We process data to create and secure accounts, verify eligibility, match and fulfil logistics work, communicate about jobs, prevent fraud, meet legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, keep safety records and administer invoices. Optional marketing is separated from service processing and may be withdrawn.
4. Consent and other lawful grounds
During onboarding, MOVEQEEL records the policy version and each mandatory or optional choice separately. Depending on the jurisdiction and activity, processing may also be necessary to perform a contract, comply with law, protect vital interests or pursue a permitted legitimate interest. Sensitive or regulated data receives additional controls.
5. Driver location rules
Location collection must remain off until an approved driver starts an assigned job. It must stop when the job ends, is cancelled or the driver is no longer assigned. Customers and vendors may see job-relevant progress; access to raw location data is restricted and logged.
6. Sharing
We share only the data needed with the customer, approved vendor, assigned driver or operator, National Progress operations staff, payment and infrastructure providers, insurers or authorities when legally required. Marketplace participants must not reuse another person's data for unrelated marketing.
7. GCC and international transfers
Where data crosses a border, National Progress LLC will document the purpose, recipient, destination and appropriate safeguards required by the applicable country. A transfer is not approved merely because both countries are in the GCC.
8. Retention and deletion
Account, job, financial, safety and compliance records follow different retention periods. Data is deleted or anonymized when its documented purpose expires unless accounting, tax, transport, dispute, insurance or other law requires longer retention. Unsuccessful applications should not be kept indefinitely.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request information, access, correction, a portable copy, restriction, objection, deletion or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the competent authority. Use the privacy request form; identity verification may be required before disclosure or deletion.
10. Security and incidents
We use authenticated identities, server-side role checks, least privilege, protected object storage, audit records and incident handling. No online service can promise absolute security. If a breach triggers a legal notification duty, National Progress LLC will notify the authority and affected people as required.
11. Children
MOVEQEEL is a business and professional logistics service for adults. Users must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any organization they register.
12. Current legal baseline
The product design references Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, Saudi Arabia's PDPL and implementing regulations, and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, sector rules, free-zone regimes and contractual requirements must be confirmed before launching in each market.
